TRANSPORT WAIHEKE <> AUCKLAND - RETURNING ON PUBLIC FERRY
Attendees coming from Auckland who DON’T need to return on the 1am chartered ferry on Sunday night should buy the FLAMINGO PIER FERRY + BUS ONLY option from FULLERS. This gives access to a return ticket usable on any public Fullers ferry and chartered buses to/from the festival. The 12:30 am public sailing returning to Auckland on Friday and Saturday nights have an updated departure time of 1 am. Chartered buses meet the 2 pm - 6 pm public sailings from Auckland only. Buses return from the festival to Matiatia Wharf from 10 pm - 12 pm and can stop at Ostend, Surfdale or Oneroa on the way back to Matiatia Ferry terminal if you notify the driver.

Attendees coming from Auckland who wish to return on the 1 am Chartered Ferry on Sunday night should buy the FERRY BUS AND RETURN CHARTER option from FULLERS. This gives access to a public Fullers ferry to Waiheke, chartered buses to/from the festival and the 1 am Chartered Return Ferry on Sunday night. Chartered buses meet the 2 pm - 6 pm public sailings from Auckland only. Buses return from the festival to Matiatia Wharf from 10 pm - 12 pm. The chartered ferry has limited capacity so buy your ticket now if you need to return to Auckland on these. Public ferry tickets won't work for the chartered ferry.
BUS TRANSPORT ON WAIHEKE TO FLAMINGO PIER FESTIVAL
Attendees already on Waiheke island can catch the Fullers chartered buses from Matiatia Wharf, Oneroa (Red Cross bus stop), Surfdale or Ostend bus stops to the festival. Return buses can drop you off at Ostend, Surfdale or Oneroa on the way to Matiatia Wharf if you notify the driver. You need to prebuy tickets for these chartered buses from FULLERS. There are two options - FLAMINGO PIER BUS RETURN ONLY or FLAMINGO PIER BUS ONE WAY ONLY. Charter buses meet the 2 - 6 pm sailings from Auckland at Matiatia Wharf and return from 10 pm - 12 pm. Flag down the driver if you’re at the Oneroa, Surfdale or Ostend bus stops.

Waiheke Island is a 40-minute passenger ferry ride from Princes Wharf Auckland via Fullers or 1-hour car ferry ride from Half Moon Bay/Wynyard Wharf via Sealink. The festival is approximately a 15-minute drive from Kennedy Point ferry terminal and 25 minutes drive from Matiatia Ferry terminal at Rangihoua Estate, 1 Gordons Road.
